Application Process
To apply for AMSI Summer School 2022, you’ll need to submit:

Are you eligible for a scholarship?
Applicants from AMSI Member Institutions may also be eligible to apply for a scholarship to assist with application fee costs to attend the program.

Takes approx. 10-15 minutes to complete
Requires applicants to supply the contact details of an honours or postgraduate coordinator and/or Head of School who is able to confirm the applicant’s suitability for AMSI Summer School and discuss their academic record if needed.
Requires applicants to nominate subject preferences.
Submission of an application does not guarantee a place at AMSI Summer School. For more information, please see the ‘Acceptance’ section below.
Payment
Once the application form has been completed, you will be redirected
to the UTS Open payment page. If you are an AMSI Member, please enter the DISCOUNT CODE ‘AMSI2022‘ to ensure you receive the member rate.
School fees are a flat rate regardless of whether applicants are choosing to study one or two subjects at the Summer School (e.g. School fee for an AMSI Member is $390 regardless of whether they are taking up one or two subjects).
Your application will not be completed or considered until payment has been made.
If your application is unsuccessful, a full refund of the School fees will be provided.

Acceptance
AMSI Summer School 2022 applications are accepted at the discretion of the Event Director. Applicants will be notified via email (at the address provided on the form) the outcome of their application within two weeks of applications closing.
Successful applicants must confirm their acceptance of the offer, following the instructions provided in the notification email by the due date.
Reimbursements & Refunds
Some universities reimburse students their Summer School registration fee. Contact your masters/honours coordinator or Head of Department to see if you are entitled to a reimbursement.
Any applicant who wishes to withdraw their application or attendee who wishes to withdraw from participating at AMSI Summer School 2022 must contact coordinator_rhed@amsi.org.au.
Refunds of the School fee will be provided for withdrawals received up until
28 November 2021. Withdrawals after this time may not be eligible for a refund.
